Core Description
-
The architecture draws from the simplicity and practicality of traditional farm buildings, reinterpreted through a restrained contemporary language of plaster, stone, steel, and timber. Covered verandahs, courtyards, service yards, and productive garden spaces extend the experience of daily living beyond the building envelope, allowing the home to operate as both a refined residence and a working homestead embedded within its environment.

A dedicated cottage and studio anchor the working edge of the property, while the main living spaces open toward covered entertainment courts and the surrounding landscape. The bedroom wing is positioned independently for privacy, connected to the heart of the home through a gallery-like circulation spine that frames light, views, and outdoor spaces along its length.
