The architecture draws inspiration from contemporary farmstead typologies, with a series of pavilion-like volumes arranged around shared outdoor spaces, creating a sense of both connection and privacy.
The Idea
The main living pavilion forms the heart of the home, opening directly onto a covered veranda and a long, linear swimming pool that anchors the outdoor living area. Large sliding doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out, allowing the living spaces to extend naturally into the landscape and encouraging a lifestyle centered around outdoor living and entertaining.
Flanking the central living space, the bedroom wings are carefully separated to create quiet, private retreats while maintaining visual connection across the garden and pool. The pitched roof forms and simple material palette respond to the rural context of Fairview Estates, giving the home a timeless quality that sits comfortably within the surrounding landscape.
