House Coetzee is a contemporary family home positioned within the sloping landscape of Cotswold Downs Estate. Defined by a series of expressive pitched roof forms, the house draws from traditional residential architecture while introducing a more refined and contemporary material language.

The design balances openness and privacy through carefully framed views, layered outdoor spaces, and generous internal volumes filled with natural light. Stone, timber, plaster, and exposed roof structures bring warmth and texture to the architecture, while large glazed openings strengthen the connection between the home and its surrounding landscape.

Conceived as a calm and enduring family residence, the project focuses on proportion, material honesty, and comfortable everyday living within a contemporary estate setting.​
