Forest House
Fairview Estate
Set within the wooded landscape of Fairview Estate, Forest House is conceived as a series of low, sheltered volumes positioned carefully within the existing tree canopy and terrain. Long linear roof forms, curved brick elements, and protected courtyards establish a quiet architectural language that responds directly to climate, landscape, and outdoor living.
The dwelling is organised around framed views, natural light, and a strong connection to the surrounding forested landscape. A restrained material palette of facebrick, concrete, steel, and stone allows the architecture to sit quietly within its setting, while expansive outdoor terraces and covered thresholds blur the boundary between house and landscape.
Designed as an understated contemporary homestead, the project prioritizes privacy, permanence, and a calm relationship with the land.
